How Long Do Stink Bugs Live?

Picture of Brown Marmorated Stink Bug

There are more than 200 species of stink bugs in North America. The brown marmorated stink bug and the kudzu bug are the most likely species to infest homes.

Brown marmorated adult stink bugs live for about 6-8 months. However, this depends on the quality of their food sources, number of predators, temperatures, and other climatic effects.

Kudzu bugs, located primarily in the Southeastern United States, live for approximately 6-12 weeks as adults.

In general, stink bugs that live in moist areas with warmer temperatures tend to live longer and reproduce for longer periods of time.
